Following are frequently asked questions regarding the IoT Connectivity Package and the answers to those questions.

Does this package include phone/email support?

No. The IoT Connectivity Package is self-service support only. Use the documentation portal and Enterprise Wireless University to research questions you may have.

What other packages are available for the hardware I want?

Contact your seller for information on high level packages that include comprehensive support.

What does the IoT Connectivity Package include?

The package (Router + Subscription) consists of a reduced feature set compared to IoT Essentials or IoT Advanced Packages. For complete details, see the NetCloud features matrix.

Is the Trial Essential Limited package the same feature set as Essentials?

No. While it includes several IoT Essentials features, Trial Essentials Limited is designed to allow customers to try the IoT Connectivity package with a reduced risk of selecting the incorrect package. The Trial Essentials Limited package allows users to make sure their applications can operate within the confines of the IoT Connectivity package while still having access to some features found in the Essentials subscription.

If I have a deployed IBR600C, and it is up for renewal, can I buy the IoT Connectivity Subscription for it?

Yes, if you move to an IOT Connectivity package, you can move to the IoT Connectivity Subscription. The included feature set is smaller, the new subscription removes the hardware warranty, and you will be limited to self-service support.

If I have a subscription to IoT Essentials today on my IBR600C, what happens to my support if I downgrade?

Once downgraded to an IoT Connectivity Renewal Subscription, support is limited to self-service.

If I have IoT Essentials today on an IBR600C, what happens to the hardware warranty if I downgrade?

Once downgraded to an IoT Connectivity Subscription, the hardware warranty is removed, as the initial 1-year hardware warranty has expired. The limited lifetime warranty from the IoT Essentials subscription is no longer applicable.

When do the Trial Essentials Limited features end after purchasing the IoT Connectivity Package?

Twelve months from the time of purchase.

Does self-service support mean a customer or partner cannot contact Cradlepoint Support?

Customers have access to the technical documentation portal (https://docs.cradlepoint.com) and Enterprise Wireless University. Support for a device on an IoT Connectivity Subscription will not be available via call, email, or chat.

Can I renew the Essentials Limited add-on, after it expires 12 months from purchase?

No, Essentials limited will not be available to renew. If you require the features in the Essentials limited add-on, upgrade to an IoT Essentials Subscription.
