AI Insights Alerts feature, when configured, enables the users to set up device faults alerts either as an email notification or webhook notification.
Important
To enable this alert type, the device must have:
An advanced license for NetCloud Manager
A minimum firmware version of 7.25.60
This alert type "Faults" covers all of the device faults categories that include:
NCM Connection (Down / Unstable)
IPSec Tunnel (Down / Unstable)
Ethernet WAN (Down / Unstable)
Modem WAN (Down / Unstable)
WiFi as WAN (Down / Unstable)
The alerts are generated for moderate and critical faults only. An alert for the "Down" fault is generated when a device is disconnected or inactive for more than 5 minutes. The alert is cleared once the device is connected or in up state. An alert for "Unstable" fault is generated when a device connects, disconnects, and then connects again multiple times. This alert is cleared when the device stays connected or is in up state for more than 5 minutes.
To enable the alerts, perform the following steps:
Log into NetCloud Manager.
Select Alerts & Logs in the left navigation panel.
Under AI Insights, select the checkbox for Faults.
