  1. Insert new MC20BT module into the E-series expansion slot. See MC20BT Bluetooth® Low Energy Module Quick Start Guide for instructions.Setup

  2. You can configure the MC20BT for two modes of operation:

    • Connectivity mode – Scan for devices and sensors within range of the MC20BT and connect to those devices to obtain telemetry data.

    • Beacon mode – MC20BT operates as a beacon device and broadcasts low energy Bluetooth signals within its given range.

    Note

    When both Connectivity and Beacon modes are enabled on MC20BT, they operate simultaneously.
