Complete the following steps to verify that the router connecting the captive modem is configured correctly:
Log into NetCloud Manager.
Select in the left-side navigation panel.
Complete one of the following:
If creating a new group:
Select .
Enter a Group Name that best describes the group of devices.
If you use Subaccounts to isolate users from viewing certain devices, select the Subaccount from the Subaccount drop-down menu. Otherwise, the group is placed in the root account. See Managing Subaccounts in NetCloud Manager to learn more about Subaccounts.
From the Product drop-down menu, select the product (for example, IBR900 or E300 routers).
From the Firmware Version drop-down menu, select the NetCloud OS version. Selecting the latest version of NCOS deploys the latest patches and security updates.
Note
Devices downgrade or upgrade to match the group NetCloud OS version when placed into the group.
From the NetCloud OS Type drop-down menu, select
Select all modems that apply.
Note
Only compatible captive modems are displayed for each corresponding controller. To reduce the NCOS images included and the size of the download package sent to the router, select only the adapters that apply.
Select .
If using an existing group:
Select an existing group.
Select .
Under Captive Modem, select from the NetCloud OS Type drop-down menu.
Select .
Select .

With this method, NetCloud OS software for all captive modems is included, which will increase the size of the download package sent to the router.
