The Change Subscription feature allows NetCloud users to change the base subscription (for example, Essentials) of a single device or multiple devices of the same product family, based off the device’s subscription compatibility and available licenses. This action resides within the Change License feature in the Subscription dashboard and uses a wizard-like process flow to complete the request.
Note
Any Advanced Add-on or other add-on subscriptions licensed on devices that are moving to a new base subscription will be removed. Use the Upgrade function to license compatible add-ons for the new base subscription.
Only root level NetCloud Manager administrators have access to the Subscription dashboard to change devices’ licenses or subscription types.
