The maximum transmitter out power fed into an antenna is 30 dBm (1 watt).  The maximum effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP) Is 36 dBm (4 watt). To stay compliant with FCC regulations on emissions of radio frequency energy by cellular devices, the modem must reduce its transmit power by 1 dBm for every 3 dBi increase from the antenna.

Modem

Maximum Transmitted Power

Cat 1

Theoretical max 30 dBm

Cat 4

Theoretical max 30 dBm

Cat 6

22-23 dBm

Cat 7

22.5-23.5 dBm

Cat 11

Theoretical max 30 dBm

Cat 12

22-23 dBm

Cat 18

Theoretical max 30 dBm
