Ericsson Cradlepoint AER16x0 routers use Cut-Through Forwarding (CTF) to achieve their advertised performance specifications. Some services and features, however, can disable CTF and negatively impact the router's performance. This document identifies those services/features and provides instructions for checking the CTF status.
If you notice degraded performance on your AER16x0 router and are using any of these services or features, disable them. A reboot of the router may be necessary to restore CTF functionality after disabling the feature(s).
