Complete the following steps to increase the ignition memory size.
Log into NetCloud Manager.
Select in the left-side navigation panel.
Select the desired router.
Select the menu and then select .
Select Open Console.
In the console, enter the command:
container exec <name of container>This should take you to the path: /usr/local/bin/ignition.
Navigate to the data directory and open up the ignition.conf file with your preferred editor.
/usr/local/bin/ignition/data/ignition.conf
Follow the Inductive Automation Documentation for increasing the Gateway Memory Allocation. Allocate the maximum memory to an appropriate amount that doesn't exceed the hardware’s memory limits.
Save the edits and close the CLI.
Log into NetCloud Manager.
Select in the left-side navigation panel.
Select the desired router.
Select the menu and then select .
Select Open Device UI.
Log in to the device from the LOGIN screen. The default username is "admin". Default passwords are supplied with routers.
Navigate to > .
Select the project that was just modified under Project Control, and then select Restart.
Once the Ignition Gateway has successfully restarted, navigate to STATUS > Performance) to verify that the Ignition Gateway memory reflects the updates that were saved in the ignition.conf file.
