Connection notification – When the NetCloud Client connects to the Secure Connect network, it first checks to see if a new NetCloud Client version is available. If a new version is available, a pop-up window displays with the option to either download the new version or defer the download to a later time. If the NetCloud Client version update is deferred, users are not prompted about the new version again until the next time they log into the Secure Connect network.

System tray notification – If a new client version becomes available after the NetCloud Client is connected to the Secure Connect network, a notification appears in the system tray and a pop-up window displays with the option to download the new version. Select the X icon in the upper-right corner of the pop-up window to defer the download and close the window.

NCX Client menu notification – Notification of an available new version appears in the NCX Client menu. Select the NCX Client icon in the upper right corner and then Update Available from the drop-down menu to go to the downloads page. 

About menu notification – Notification of an available new version also appears in the About menu. Select the NCX Client icon in the upper right corner and then About from the drop-down menu to display version update information. If a new version is available, a pop-up window displays with the option to download it. Select Close to defer the update.

If the NetCloud Client is running the most current version, a pop-up displays to advise that the client is up to date.
