Note
Only install or replace batteries when the router is powered down. Purchased batteries are shipped with "shipping mode" enabled, preventing the battery from discharging even if installed in the router. The shipping mode is disabled when the battery is installed in the router, the router is plugged into an AC power source, and the power switch on the back of the router is switched on.
