The light bar on the Ericsson Cradlepoint E300 and E3000 routers illuminates bright white when successfully connected to NetCloud Manager. If a NetCloud Manager connection is not successful, the light bar remains off, giving the network administrator a quick visual of an issue.
Some deployments require the light bar and status LEDs be turned off, which is referred to as "Dark Mode." The light bar and all LEDs except the power LED are turned off in Dark Mode.
