How to assign both ethernet ports to the same LAN on a CBA850

- Assign both ethernet ports to the Primary LAN
- Use the PoE/IP passthrough ethernet port of the CBA850 for its Primary LAN
- CBA850
- IP passthrough is not used
- If connecting to the router directly, ensure you are plugged into the LAN1 port while making configuration changes
- Navigate to Networking > Local Networks > Local IP Networks
- Double-click the IPPT Interface to select and edit it
- Go to the Interfaces tab
- Select the VLAN: 2-IPPT interface
- Click the < arrow to move it to the Available Interfaces side
- Click Save
- Double-click the Primary LAN to select and edit it
- Go to the Interfaces tab
- Select the VLAN:2-IPPT interface
- Click the > arrow to move it to the Selected Interfaces side
- Save
- Note: the opposite configuration, with both ports assigned to the IPPT Interface, will not work correctly because the Cradlepoint can pass through only one IP address. This means that regardless of the number of ports associated with the IPPT interface, only one client will ever be able to successfully connect.
