Complete the following steps to verify the status of the file system.

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select the desired router.

  4. Select the Remote Connect menu, and then select Console.

  5. Select Open Console.

  6. Run the following command:

    get /state/system/admin/filesystem
    • The output should appear as follows:

      clear_persistent_memory.png
    • If any of the values above are non-zero, a Format Persistent Memory button will appear in the local admin interface of the Ericsson Cradlepoint router on the System > System Control > Device Options page. This button will only appear in the NetCloud OS if an issue is detected with the flash memory.

    • If there are problems with the file system, symptoms might include:

      • NetCloud Client gets stuck during its installation and the NetCloud Client Status icon shows a grey circle with three dots.

      • If using CP Secure Threat Management, you are required to download the rules after every reboot.
