Enabling Log Reporting in NetCloud Manager

Complete the following steps to export a log report in CVS format:

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select the desired router.

  4. Select the Export image1.png button.

  5. Select Device Logs or Router Logs (depending on the model) to download the log in CVS format.

    Note

    When exporting device logs, NetCloud Manager gathers as many logs as possible within 60 seconds and starts with the most recent. The verbosity of the logs affects the quantity of logs gathered in the allotted 60 seconds. The size of the log files can be in excess of 150 MB.

    Logs may also be exported using the NetCloud APIv2. When using the API, there is a one-minute limitation for transferring the log that could result in a timeout before retrieving the entire 30-day data set.

    Logs are timestamped in UTC format.
