- Best practice - if a disabled/un-activated SIM is utilized to provide GPS functionality the modem slot should be disabled.
- Unintended traffic to towers may be generated and have unintended consequences for the carrier or future use of ICCID or IMEI numbers associated with SIM and modem hardware.

- If SIM is installed in SIM slot one, set modem to use Internal Modem to SIM slot two only.
- This action will disable the radio action of attempting to connect to a carrier, but allow the GPS within the modem to be utilized.
