The following are test action examples.

IP Verify under VRRP

Complete the following to specifiy a test action for VRRP.

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select a router from the Routers page. Alternatively, to make configuration changes to a group, navigate to the Groups page and select a group.

  4. Select Configuration and then Edit.

  5. Navigate to NETWORKING > Local Networks > Local IP Networks.

  6. Select a network.

  7. Click Edit.

  8. Click VRRP.

  9. From the Test Name drop-down menu, select the test instance.

  10. Select On Pass to execute the action if the test is successful. Otherwise, the action is executed if the test fails.

  11. In the VRRP Priority field, enter a integer indicating the amount by which VRRP priority is changed. With the given configuration above, if the WAN modem test reports fail, the VRRP priority is increased by 4.

IP Verify Under IPsec

The IPVerify tunnel action allows the tunnel's state to be changed based on result of a given IPVerify Test. Complete the following to specify a test action for IPsec.

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select a router from the Routers page. Alternatively, to make configuration changes to a group, navigate to the Groups page and select a group.

  4. Select Configuration and then Edit.

  5. Navigate to NETWORKING > Tunnels > IPsec VPN.

    The IPSec VPN page displays with the Tunnels tab.

  6. Select a a IPsec tunnel.

  7. Click Edit.

  8. Navigate to page 6 of 6.

  9. Under IPVerify, configure the following.

    Note

    Test 1 and Test 2 can both be configured to independently connect or disconnect tunnel.

    • From the Test Name field, select the test instance.

    • Select On Pass to execute the action if the test is successful. Otherwise, the action is executed if the test fails.

    • From the Tunnel State drop-down menu, select the desired state of tunnel when the IPVerify action is performed.

  10. Click Finish.
