When an Ericsson endpoint is connected to the primary routing device (for example, a third-party router or a firewall) as a non-primary WAN link, the endpoint has no knowledge nor direct control over the primary WAN link.
Ericsson Enterprise Wireless monitors the data usage of the endpoint for spikes and slumps of data usage through the endpoint to detect failover events, and those failover events are listed in the Failover Calculated Events Log.
