When a LAN/VLAN interface is modified, switchboard flapping occurs and connectivity is briefly interrupted.
To limit the effects of this condition when modifying multiple interfaces at the same time, we recommend making interface changes using NetCloud Manager and not using the device's local user interface.
Note that when using Captive Modem functionality, the controller router causes the POE-connected Captive Modem to lose power briefly as it resets. This means that both the controller and the Captive Modem contribute to switchboard flapping while they reset.
