  • Locate the description label of your router. In most cases it is on the bottom of the device.

    • Cradlepoint Series 3 routers manufactured before December 2018 will use the last 8 digits of the MAC address as the default password. The default password is case sensitive. In the example "442df501", the "d"and "f" should be lowercase.

    • Cradlepoint routers manufactured December 2018 or later will use the full 14-digit serial number as the default password. The default password is case sensitive. In the example "MM180456800037", the letters "MM" should be uppercase.
