SIM Slots and PDN/PDU settings define the behavior for the SIMs in the attached modules. Settings may be configured for each of the router ports, and the feature must be supported on the module.
SIM slots may be disabled for any modem by port. Use this grid to disable either of the SIM slots on a dual SIM modem. Disabling an unused SIM slot decreases the modem's initialization time, and a disabled SIM no longer appears in the Connection Manager. This setting has no effect on single SIM modems.
Note
Any SIM inserted into a disabled slot is not recognized.
Multi-PDN – Multi-PDN makes it possible to have more than one simultaneous WAN interface or connection on a single modem or SIM. Multiple PDNs may be used to support public or private networks, split billing, and other features. Each PDN receives its own IP address. Each Multi-PDN interface appears as a separate entry in the WAN Interface Table of the Connection Manager so that each PDN may be configured independently. For example, the first PDN could be configured as a public network, and the second as a private network, with each PDN billed to a separate account.
For Multi-PDN to function properly, the following three conditions must be met:
The modem module must support Multi-PDN.
The SIM must be provisioned for Multi-PDN by the cellular carrier.
he PDN Count must be set to the desired number of PDNs for the modem or SIM.

If the PDN Count setting is greater than the maximum supported by the carrier or the module, only the maximum supported appears in the Connection Manager.
