Because NetCloud group and individual device configurations supersede a factory reset, you should remove the endpoint from any groups and clear the device configuration before performing a factory reset. Otherwise, the endpoint will receive the same group or device configurations when the factory reset is completed.

Use the following procedure to factory reset an endpoint from NetCloud Manager:

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Click Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select the desired router.

  4. Click Move.

    Note

    This step is only necessary if the router is a member of a group.

  5. Select the parent account and click OK.

  6. Click Configuration and then Clear.

  7. Click Commands and then Restore to Defaults.
