Complete the following to change the DHCP LAN address range:

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select a router from the Routers page. Alternatively, to make configuration changes to a group, navigate to the Groups page and select a group.

  4. Select Configuration and then Edit.

  5. Navigate to NETWORKING > Local Networks > Local IP Networks.

  6. Select the LAN.

  7. Select Edit.

  8. Select IPv4 DHCP from the left-side navigation menu.

  9. Set the Range Start and Range End values. The Range Start and Range End fields specify the lower and upper boundaries of the pool of IP addresses given to any DHCP-enabled computers on the network.

    Note

The default range is almost always sufficient.

This change only affects the last octet of the IP address range. When the LAN range has a subnet other than a /24, this field dictates the place within the subnet range to start and end the hosts addresses. This does not dictate the actual IP address. See the following figures:

    LAN Editor, IPv4 Settings
    LAN Editor DHCP Server
  10. Select Save.

After making these changes, the DHCP server will provide IP addresses from the range you have designated.
