Before using a Satellite WAN profile, enable satellite modem auto-detection.

Important

Starlink modems must be in bridge mode to be detected as a satellite.

  1. Scroll down the page and under WAN Management, select the Ethernet Auto-detect tab.

  2. Verify that the Ethernet Modem Auto-detect box shows as selected (it is selected by default).

  3. Under Satellite Modem Auto-detect, select the Enable checkbox.

  4. Unless needed, you can typically leave the Maximum Retry Count and Retry Interval at their defaults (3). However, should adjustments be needed you can set the Maximum Retry Count up to the 10, and the Retry Interval up to 30 (seconds).
