Filter Criteria are used to define the kind of profile and corresponding conditions to which the interface must match. After defined, only appropriate configuration settings are available for access and modifications.
Configurable filters for 5G/LTE multi-mode modems:
Profile Name – Enter a string name to represent the profile's identity.
Type – Select one of the interface types: Ethernet, Modem, WiFi as WAN (WWAN), or Software Defined WAN (SD WAN).
Modem Template – Select an Ericsson Cradlepoint product reference from the predefined list. This setting is used only to autofill the Modem Technology checkboxes with appropriate selections for the product and does not persist. If your modem is not in the list, select Custom.

Modem Technology – Select all technologies supported by the Custom modem. It is important that the selections match all the technologies of the modem (this is not to be confused with forcing connection modes), or the modem will not match this profile. However, if no technologies are selected, then Modem Technology is not a condition to match this profile.
Manufacturer – Enter the Manufacturer name of an interface to which the filter condition must apply. The manufacturer name is found in Status > Internet > Connections in the interface diagnostic information.
Model – Enter the interface model name to which the filter condition must apply. The model name is found in Status > Internet > Connections in the interface diagnostic information.
SIM Slot – Select a specific SIM slot number to which the filter condition must apply.
PDN/PDU – Select the PDN/PDU number to filter on only the specified instance for SIMs supporting multiple PDN/PDU on a modem.
Port – Select the Port name on the Ericsson Cradlepoint router to which the device is connected. The dropdown box provides the available hardware options.
VLAN Interface – Select the VLAN interface to filter on only captive modems connecting on the specified VLAN.
Serial Number – Enter the Serial Number of an interface to which the filter condition must apply. The serial number is found in Status > Internet > Connections in the interface diagnostic information.
MAC Address – Enter the hexadecimal MAC Address of an interface (e.g. xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) to which the filter condition must apply. A MAC Address is a unique identifier common with Ethernet and WiFi as WAN (WWAN) interfaces.
Unique ID – Enter the Unique ID (UID) of an interface to which the filter condition must apply. The UID is found on the Connection Manager page in the interface details.
If a WAN device matches filters of multiple WAN profiles, profiles with more specific criteria are preferred over those with more general criteria. For example, Unique ID (UID) is more specific than Manufacturer.
