Complete the following steps to save a router log for troubleshooting with Enterprise Wireless Solutions Support. This process exports the support log and saves diagnostic data in a text file. This provides active configuration and processes information beyond what's available in the regular router log.

A similar output can be obtained from the router command-line interface (CLI) using the command SupportQA.

If you are unable to save or view the router support log, the regular router log provides a portion of the same information in a standard text document. See Saving Log Files to a Computer Hard Drive.

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select a router from the Routers page. Alternatively, to make configuration changes to a group, navigate to the Groups page and select a group.

  4. Select Configuration and then Edit.

  5. Navigate to SYSTEM > Diagnostics.

  6. Scroll to the Support section.

  7. Click Collect Support Log.

  8. Save the file to your computer.

    Note

If the router has an older NetCloud OS software version, you may need to save the log from System > Administration > System Logging > Save to disk instead.
