You can manage a Cradlepoint device through NetCloud Manager with no active WAN connection, such as when it is used as a failover device or configured in Wi-Fi Bridge mode on an existing network.

With the default settings, the router requires an active WAN connection to connect to NetCloud Manager or obtain the current date/time from an NTP Server. To use a LAN to connect to NetCloud Manager instead, configure the router to use the LAN Gateway feature.
