This section provides the steps necessary to create and use OOBM connection profiles.

  1. Select Devices and then do either of the following to access the OOBM feature in NetCloud Manager:

    • Select the name of the router.

      Then click Troubleshooting > Remote Connect > Out of Band Manager.

    • Select the router to connect to, then click Remote Connect > Out of Band Manager.

  2. Select Add on the Out of Band Manager page.

  3. Do the following in the Add Serial Profile panel:

    1. Type a name for the connection profile in the Name field.

    2. Select the serial port that the connection will use from the Serial drop-down box.

    3. Select the Save button to save the OOBM connection profile.
