Relocation – USB 3.0 interference can hinder antenna transmission and reception. To minimize this, ensure proper placement of the Ericsson Cradlepoint device, its antennas, and any USB 3.0 devices. Position the antennas to allow them to radiate freely, keeping them as far away as possible from objects that could impact performance and efficiency.
Use USB 2.0 Ports – USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0, allowing users to connect USB 3.0 devices to USB 2.0 ports. While this reduces transfer speeds to USB 2.0 levels, it will eliminate USB 3.0 interference.
Shielding – Applying shielding around the USB 3.0 device can reduce signal propagation. However, since many users may not be able to implement proper shielding, this is the least recommended mitigation method.
