This task needs to be completed for every interface on the NetCloud Exchange Service Gateway. In this procedure, a separate vSwitch is dedicated to each interface.

Complete the following steps to add a virtual machine to a standard vSwitch:

  1. Log into VMware ESXi.

  2. Right-click Networking in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Click Add standard vSwitch.

  4. Enter the vSwitch name for the interface.

    Note

    Start with the WAN0 interface.

  5. Select the vmNIC assigned to WAN0 (for example, vmnic1 - Up, 1000 mbps) for Uplink 1.

  6. Select Add.

  7. Repeat this procedure for the MGMT and LAN interfaces.
