The values in the Name, Description, Custom 1, Custom 2, and Asset Identifier fields in the Routers grid can be customized. Click in the row you want to edit; the pencil icon (
) appears next to these customized fields. Click the pencil icon next to the field to edit that field.
Note
Editing the Name, Description, Custom 1, Custom 2, and Asset Identifier fields should not result in the "brick" icon appearing to indicate that the individual configuration has changed. These are common fields whose values can be changed without signaling to NetCloud that a device’s individual configuration has changed.
The equal sign (=) or double quotes (") characters can be used in these editable fields, but those characters are not searchable or filterable.
