Overview Guide

Following are the steps for integrating a third-party application:

  1. Purchasing (or already possessing) a NetCloud Advanced plan for the feature to integrate, and a license for the third-party application.

  2. Enabling the application by clicking the Enable button on the tile for third-party application, on the application's page in NetCloud Manager.

  3. Authenticating with the third-party application. After an application is enabled, you are redirected to the third- party application's login page to log in for authentication purposes.

  4. After authenticating, the third-party application redirects you to NetCloud Manager to authorize the integration in NetCloud Manager. When authorizing the application, you determine what the third-party application can do in NetCloud Manager and on the Ericsson Cradlepoint device.

  5. After authentication, NetCloud generates an Oauth 2 access token that is stored by the third-party application. This token is used when making requests from the third-party application to NetCloud Manager.

  6. Once the third-party application possesses the Oauth 2 access token, it can begin making requests to NetCloud Manager for the data it requires for the integration.
