Complete the following steps to create BGP-over-GRE peers to the NetCloud Exchange Service Gateway:

  1. From the same Transit Gateway Attachments page, select the Transit gateway attachment ID of the Connect Attachment that was previously created.

  2. In the Connect peers section, select Create connect peer.

    1. Name: connect-peer-01 (Example value for this guide.)

    2. Transit gateway GRE address: 192.0.2.1

    3. Peer GRE address: <the LAN IP of the Service Gateway> (10.1.50.203 in this guide)

    4. BGP Inside CIDR blocks IPv4: 169.254.6.0/29 (Example value for this guide. This range must come out of the 169.254.0.0/16 block, with some portions of that range reserved by AWS for other purposes.)

    5. Peer ASN: 65000 (Example value for this guide. This Autonomous System Number (ASN) is set on the NCX Service Gateway in a later step.)

Create connect peer page with example settings.
  3. Select Create connect peer.
