A Transit Gateway Connect Attachment runs over the VPC Attachment and allows passing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) with the NetCloud Exchange Service Gateway over Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE).

Complete the following steps to create a connect attachment:

  1. From the Transit Gateway attachments page, select Create transit gateway attachment again.

  2. Configure the following settings:

    1. Name: TGW Connect Attachment (Example value for this guide.)

    2. Transit Gateway ID: Select the Transit Gateway created earlier.

    3. Attachment type: Connect

    4. Connect Attachment

      Transport attachment ID: Select the VPC attachment created earlier.

      The Create transit gateway attachment page highlighting required fields.

  3. Select Create transit gateway attachment.

  4. Wait until the Connect Attachment is in the available state before proceeding.
