A Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) attachment provides transport between the VPC in which the NetCloud Exchange Service Gateway is running and the Transit Gateway.

Complete the following steps to create a VPC attachment:

  1. In the VPC Console, navigate to Transit Gateway Attachments.

  2. Select Create transit gateway attachment.

  3. Configure the following settings:

    1. Name tag: TGW VPC Attachment (Example value for this guide.)

    2. Transit gateway ID: Select the Transit Gateway created earlier.

    3. Attachment type: VPC

    4. VPC ID: Select the VPC where the NCX Service Gateway is running.

    5. Subnet IDs: Select the LAN subnet used by the NCX Service Gateway.

      The page should look like the following:

      VPC attachment page highlighting the VPC ID and Subnet IDs fields.
    6. Select Create transit gateway attachment.

    7. Wait until the VPC Attachment is in the available state before proceeding.
