After successfully registering the NetCloud Virtual Edge within NetCloud Manager, the domain name system (DNS) entry for the virtual network to include the device's LAN IP address and the Azure public DNS IP address.

Complete the following steps to change the DNS entry for the virtual network:

  1. Open the Azure portal.

  2. Navigate to the Virtual machines page.

  3. Select the NetCloud Virtual Edge virtual machine (VM).

  4. Select Network settings under Networks in the left-side navigation panel.

  5. Select the name of the Virtual network / subnet.

  6. Select DNS servers in the left-side navigation panel.

  7. Select Custom and enter the device's LAN IP address.

  8. Enter the Azure public DNS IP address.

  9. Select Save and restart the VM.
