Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions highly recommends updating the NetCloud Virtual Edge default password (00000000) after deployment.

Complete the following steps to change the default password for the NetCloud Virtual Edge:

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select the desired NetCloud Virtual Edge.

  4. Select Configuration and then Edit.

  5. Select System in the left-side navigation.

  6. Select the admin user and then Edit.

  7. Enter a custom password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.

    Note

    The password must be between 7 and 63 characters and contain at least one number.

  8. Select Save.
