The NetCloud Virtual Edge is a virtual cloud onramp to NetCloud Exchange and NetCloud SASE. It is a simple, consistent, and cost-effective way to create software-defined networks for customers with many sites that need connectivity to any combination of cloud destinations and data centers. A NetCloud Virtual Edge extends the zero-trust network to secondary cloud environments or secondary data center environments.

The deployment workflow requires deploying the NetCloud Virtual Edge virtual machine (VM) in the Azure account and then registering it with NetCloud Manager. Data center resources deployed in the VNet, as well as configuring routing for those resources, is also required.

This guide assumes familiarity with NetCloud Exchange, NetCloud Manager, and Azure.
