The NetCloud Virtual Edge virtual machine (VM) image for Azure is available within NetCloud Manager. The VM image file is shared in the Azure account where it is to be deployed.
Note
The Azure Tenant ID or the Azure Subscription ID is needed for submitting the request to share the VM image.
Complete the following steps to share the NetCloud Virtual Edge VM image:
Log into NetCloud Manager.
Select in the left-side navigation panel.
The Secure Networks tab opens.
Select Image Management.
Select NCXVE-Azure from the Image Share Request drop-down menu.
Enter the Region Code, for example, west us 2, in the Image Share Request panel.
A valid region determines the available software versions listed in the next step.
Note
If an error message appears, verify the Region Code and provide a valid value.
Select the software version to deploy from the Software Version drop-down menu.
Note
If a software version is not available for a valid region code, contact Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Global Service & Support.
Select either Azure Tenant ID or Azure Subscription ID for the account in which deploying the NetCloud Virtual Edge is planned and enter the value for the selected ID type.
Select .
The shared image appears in the list of shared images on the Image Management page. The shared image has a two-hour expiration deadline listed in the Share Expiration column of the table. The shared image must be used to deploy the NetCloud Virtual Edge prior to the expiration deadline.
Note
A maximum of two shares can be concurrently active.
If a share request is rejected due to reaching the maximum sharing limit, wait two to four hours and try again. If the error persists, contact Cradlepoint Support.
