Use the following steps to configure NTP.

  1. Navigate to NETWORKING > Local Networks > Local IP Networks.

  2. Create a new LAN. For additional help creating a LAN, see How to add a loopback Interface.

  3. Assign a new IP with a /32 subnet mask in the IP Address field.

  4. Select "Loopback" from the IPv4 Routing Mode drop-down menu.

  5. Navigate to SYSTEM > Administration > Router Services.

  6. Create a LAN network binding for NTP to the Loopback LAN. For additional information on how to create a LAN binding, see How to Configure Router Services with LAN Network Binding.

  7. Navigate to NETWORKING > Routing > Static and Policy Routing.

  8. Create a Route Policy using the steps in Policy Based Routing.

  9. Add the loopback IP address in the Source IP/Network Address field.

  10. Select "lo (Local router-originated)" from the Incoming Device drop-down menu.

  11. In the Reference section, select "NCM" from the Table drop-down menu.

  12. Move this policy above the default "any, any" policy.
