  • Output send to serial for GPS data on an IBR900 utilizing an FTDI Chipset USB to DB9 adapter
  • IBR900 
  • Plug in USB to Serial (FTDI chipset) adapter to the USB port on IBR900.
  • Install a Null Modem Cable to Serial cable of USB Adapter.
  • Install a USB to Serial that is compatible with your PC. 
  • Plug Null Modem Cable into Serial side of USB adapter.
  • Use terminal software that can open a COM port to view the sentences. (PuTTy works well.)
  • FTDI chipset USB to Serial adapters have drivers present in the NCOS versions greater than 6.6.2.
  • Device may need to be power cycled after the initial installation of the USB FTDI Chipset.
