Complete the following steps to configure Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6):

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Devices in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Select a router from the Routers page. Alternatively, to make configuration changes to a group, navigate to the Groups page and select a group.

  4. Select Configuration and then Edit.

  5. Navigate to NETWORKING > Tunnels > PMIPv6.

The Networks Routed by PMIPv6 page displays.

  6. Configure the PMIPv6 Based Network Mobility Settings:

    1. Select Enabled.

    2. Select a WAN identifier from the drop-down menu. The WAN must be the AT&T cellular WAN connection that uses APN provisioned by AT&T for PMIP service.

    3. In the LMA IP Address field, enter the Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) provided by wireless carrier.

    4. Leave both Registration Lifetime and MTU as default unless they specifically require a change.

  7. Configure the Networks Routed by PMIPv6:

    1. Select Add.

    2. Enter Network Address and Netmask.

      Note

Routes for the specified NEMOPMIPv6 networks are high priority to capture all traffic originating from those networks. This priority can be adjusted with Policy Routing by creating a route table named NEMOPMIPv6 and a Service-type policy pointing to that table. Adjust the priority of the policy as desired. For example, positioning the NEMOPMIPv6 policy below Main and adding routes to the Main table allows greater control over the NEMOPMIPv6 traffic.

    3. Select Save.
