A Proxy Mobile IP (PMIP) network enables the establishment of a private, mobile network-aware tunnel. This setup allows network routes to be advertised to the Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) for integration into the network’s private routing process. Using this approach, both public and private networks can access unmanaged devices behind the Ericsson Cradlepoint router without the need for a complex meshed VPN architecture.
