NetCloud Exchange and NetCloud SASE use a template engine to update the configuration of all Secure Connect network site routers. Updates to the template are needed to improve performance or fix certain behaviors. If there is a new version of the template, the template is pushed to all impacted network site routers only after a network change has occurred. The template update is pending for any offline device until the next time the device connects to NetCloud Manager.
Network changes include when any Secure Connect network fields are edited or changed by a network administrator, for example:
Editing a network name
DNS servers
Split routing mode/entries
Topology settings
