Complete the following steps to troubleshoot NetCloud Manager connectivity.

  1. Connect the computer to the Ericsson Cradlepoint router with an Ethernet cable or wireless connection.

  2. Open a web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer, type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar, and then press the Enter or Return key on the keyboard. If http://192.168.0.1 does not display the login screen, the default LAN IP may have changed. Go to http://cp/.

    Note

This site is hosted locally on the Ericsson Cradlepoint router; internet access is not required to view this page.

  3. The login screen displays and prompts for the entry of a username and password. The default username is "admin". If the password is unknown or it isn't accepted, see Locating the Default Wireless or Admin Password on a Device.

  4. After successfully logging in, the router's settings can be modified.

  5. Navigate to SYSTEM > Diagnostics > Ping Test.

  6. Ping 8.8.8.8 (google.com). If pings fail, check Connection Manager for any errors. See Troubleshooting No Internet or Connection Issues.Overview

  7. Ping google.com. If unable to resolve DNS, see: Testing a DNS Configuration .Testing a DNS Configuration

  8. Check MTU size: Overview of Maximum Transmission Unit Size .Overview of Maximum Transmission Unit Size

  9. Verify you can Telnet to stream.cradlepointecm.com on port 8001 using the following CLI commands:

    telnet stream.cradlepointecm.com 8001
