NAI (Network Address Identifier) realms are required for Passpoint profiles, and are required for authentication on the server. Use the following procedure to configure an NAI realm.
Log into NetCloud Manager.
Select in the left-side navigation panel.
Select a router from the Routers page. Alternatively, to make configuration changes to a group, navigate to the Groups page and select a group.
Select and then .
Select Identities and then Passpoint Profiles.
To edit an existing profile, select it and then click Edit. Otherwise, click Add and then configure the settings on the General page.
Select NAI Realms.
Select Add.
Enter a Domain. This specifies the Realm name for Hotspot 2.0.
Select an Encoding method. This determines the Encoding method type for the NAI Realm:
IETF RFC 4282 Encoding
UTF-8 formatted character string Encoding
Under EAP Methods, select Add.
Select an EAP Method. This specifies the Extensible Authentication Protocol method for the realm.
Under Auth Parameters, select Add.
Select a Type, which controls what authentication parameters are sent. The choices are non-EAP Inner, or Credential.
Select a Value, which controls the specific parameter values that are sent for authentication. Available Value choices include a wide array of selections:
PAP (Password Authentication Protocol)
CHAP (Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol)
MSCHAP (Microsoft Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol)
MSCHAPV2 (Microsoft Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol)
SIM (Subscriber Identity Module)
USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module)

Hardware Token
Softoken
Certification

Select Save to save the Type and Value selections.
Select Save (at bottom of page) to save the EAP Method.
Select Save on the NAI Realm page to save the NAI Realm profile.
