The Network Interfaces view in NetCloud Manager has multiple Carrier fields, what is the difference between them and what do they mean?
- Registered Carrier: Carrier of the currently connected cell tower
- Home Carrier: Carrier of your SIM card
- Carrier: This will display the Registered Carrier, if available. Otherwise, it will display the Home Carrier
- Example: If you have a T-Mobile SIM card but are Roaming using a tower operated by AT&T, the Registered Carrier would say "AT&T", but Home Carrier will say "T-Mobile".
- Registered Carrier and Home Carrier are also displayed in the local interface of the router under Status > Internet > Connections
