  • Cameras drop their WiFi connection every so often

  • WiFi clients can't reconnect until the Cradlepoint router is rebooted

The Scan While Connected setting for WiFi as WAN actively engages the wireless radio to check nearby wireless networks. In order to make use of the wifi radio like that, the router has to kick off wireless clients that are currently using it.
  1. Navigate to Networking > WiFi as WAN
  2. Click on the Wireless Scan Settings tab at the top
  3. Uncheck Scan While Connected
  4. Save
