NetCloud OS (NCOS) 7.25.80 or later is required to use the eSIM feature.
Note
For supported devices with NCOS 7.25.100 or later, a test eSIM profile is included on the device. The profile displays in NCOS and NetCloud Manager and cannot be removed, activated, or otherwise managed by the user.
NCOS 7.26.40 FR1 or later is required to use the eSIM feature with captive modems.
An eSIM activation code from your carrier is required. Contact your carrier for this code.
For embedded eSIMs, the device must have a non-cellular WAN source prior to adding the first eSIM profile.
Important
When factory resets are performed, the eSIM slot setting is lost and device will not be able to connect to NetCloud Manager. To re-connect to NetCloud Manager, the user must connect to a WAN port to establish the NetCloud Manager connection.
