When Enhanced Login Security is enabled, the following policies are enforced (per user) on the account:

  • Accounts are locked after five failed login attempts. Failed attempts continue to increment and will not reset until valid credentials are presented.

  • Inactive accounts are automatically disabled after 90 days.

  • Passwords must be changed every 90 days. If you do not change your password within the 90-day window, you are required to change your password the next time you attempt to log into NetCloud Manager.

  • None of the last four passwords can be reused when changing passwords. Locked or disabled user accounts must be unlocked by the account administrator.

  • Email notifications are sent to both the affected user email and the account administrator when an account is locked. Email notifications are not sent before accounts are locked, only after accounts are locked.
