Configuration Guide

Cradlepoint recommends that you enable Enhanced Login Security if you need to meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). NetCloud administrator privileges are required to perform these steps. Use the following steps to require MFA for all users in your account:

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Select Account in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Click the Settings tab.

  4. Select the Force MFA and Enhanced Login Security checkboxes.

  5. Select Save.

Important

The account's users must set up MFA for their accounts when you require MFA. See Setting up MFA for the Account for more information.

Enhanced Login Security adds the following security requirements related to your account's user logins:

  • Users are locked out of their accounts after six failed login attempts.

  • The accounts of inactive account users are disabled after 90 days.

  • Users must change their passwords every 90 days.

  • Users cannot reuse any of their last four passwords when changing passwords.
